Peace Lily also known as Spathiphyllum spp. is a popular and widely cultivated indoor plant known for its attractive glossy green leaves and elegant white flowers. It belongs to the Araceae family and is native to tropical regions of Central and South America. The white flowers, which resemble a white flag of peace, give the plant its common name "Peace Lily."

Plant Features:
White flowers: The most prominent feature of Peace Lily is its beautiful white flowers, consisting of a white spathe (modified leaf) surrounding a spadix (flower spike). The flowers are long-lasting and add a touch of elegance to any indoor space.
Glossy green leaves: Peace Lily has glossy, dark green leaves that provide an attractive backdrop to the white flowers, adding to its overall visual appeal.
Air-purifying qualities: Peace Lily is renowned for its air-purifying abilities, effectively removing indoor air pollutants such as formaldehyde, benzene, and ammonia.
Plants Care
  • Light: Peace Lily prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but will produce more flowers with brighter light. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
  • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Peace Lily prefers moderate watering and may wilt when it needs water. Once watered, it will perk up quickly.
  • Soil: Use well-draining soil to prevent waterlogging. A mix formulated for indoor plants or African violets works well for Peace Lily.
  • Temperature: Peace Lily thrives in average room temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). It is sensitive to cold drafts and should be protected from frost.
  • Humidity: Peace Lily appreciates high humidity levels. Regular misting or placing the plant on a humidity tray can help maintain the required moisture.
  • Fertilizing: Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop fertilizing in winter.
  • Pruning: Trim back spent flowers and yellowing leaves to maintain the plant's appearance. Prune with care, as the sap can irritate the skin.
  • Repotting: Peace Lily should be repotted every 1-2 years or when it becomes root-bound. Choose a slightly larger pot with good drainage.

    DELIVERY

    • We offer free same day delivery for Abu Dhabi and Dubai for orders above 300AED.
    • For orders less than 300AED, we are charging 30AED shipping fee.
    • Delivery cut off timings vary per location. For Dubai and Abu Dhabi, our delivery cut off timing is until 6PM.
    • All orders received beyond the specified timings will be delivered on the next day.
    • For urgent delivery requirements to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we offer Express Delivery services with a 150 AED charge. We guarantee the delivery within 1 hour from the time you have placed and paid your order with us.
    • No same day delivery for any orders with cake. Placing of cake orders is only until 6pm, then it will be delivered on the next day, 11am onwards.
    • The shipping fee applies to one location ONLY. If your order has more than one delivery location, additional shipping fee will be charged per location added.
    • If our driver has already arrived at the initially provided shipping address and you then change the location, an additional 30AED will be charged for re-routing, given that the new location is more than 2 kilometers away from the original shipping address. To avoid this, kindly communicate with our Customer Service Team for any changes regarding your delivery details.

    Plantaflora guarantees the delivery of your order within the day that you have requested. However, we cannot promise exact timings. For orders that must be received within a particular time slot, please contact our Customer Service Team before placing your order for assistance.
