Plants Care
  • Light: Phalaenopsis orchids prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, as it can cause leaf burn. East or north-facing windows are usually ideal.
  • Watering: Water the orchid thoroughly when the potting mix is nearly dry. Be sure to drain excess water from the pot to prevent root rot. Watering frequency may vary depending on the humidity and the orchid's specific needs.
  • Humidity: Phalaenopsis orchids appreciate high humidity levels, ideally between 50-70%. You can increase humidity by using a humidifier, placing the orchid on a humidity tray, or grouping it with other plants.
  • Temperature: Keep the orchid in a warm environment with temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid exposing it to extreme temperature fluctuations and cold drafts.
  • Air circulation: Good air circulation is essential for Phalaenopsis orchids. Ensure there is adequate airflow around the plant to prevent the development of fungal diseases.
  • Potting mix: Use a well-draining orchid mix made of bark, sphagnum moss, and perlite to promote proper root aeration and drainage.
  • Fertilizing: Feed the orchid with a balanced orchid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop fertilizing in winter.
  • Pruning: After the orchid has finished blooming, trim back the flower spike just above a node to encourage the development of new spikes.

    DELIVERY

    • We offer free same day delivery for Abu Dhabi and Dubai for orders above 300AED.
    • For orders less than 300AED, we are charging 30AED shipping fee.
    • Delivery cut off timings vary per location. For Dubai and Abu Dhabi, our delivery cut off timing is until 6PM.
    • All orders received beyond the specified timings will be delivered on the next day.
    • For urgent delivery requirements to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we offer Express Delivery services with a 150 AED charge. We guarantee the delivery within 1 hour from the time you have placed and paid your order with us.
    • No same day delivery for any orders with cake. Placing of cake orders is only until 6pm, then it will be delivered on the next day, 11am onwards.
    • The shipping fee applies to one location ONLY. If your order has more than one delivery location, additional shipping fee will be charged per location added.
    • If our driver has already arrived at the initially provided shipping address and you then change the location, an additional 30AED will be charged for re-routing, given that the new location is more than 2 kilometers away from the original shipping address. To avoid this, kindly communicate with our Customer Service Team for any changes regarding your delivery details.

    Plantaflora guarantees the delivery of your order within the day that you have requested. However, we cannot promise exact timings. For orders that must be received within a particular time slot, please contact our Customer Service Team before placing your order for assistance.
