  • Light: Place the Alocasia amazonica in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause the leaves to burn. However, it does appreciate some filtered sunlight.
  • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of the soil feels dry, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
  • Humidity: Alocasia amazonica thrives in high humidity environments. Consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a pebble tray filled with water to increase humidity.
  • Temperature: Keep the plant in a warm environment, ideally between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix to ensure proper drainage and prevent waterlogging.
  • Fertilizing: Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop fertilizing in winter.
  • Pruning: Trim off any yellowing or damaged leaves to maintain the plant's appearance and health.
  • Repotting: Alocasia amazonica can be repotted every 1-2 years or when it outgrows its current pot. Keep in mind that this plant can be toxic to pets and should be kept out of their reach.

    Just grab-and-go your favorite flower bunch at one of our three pick up locations:

    DELIVERY

    • We offer free same day delivery for Abu Dhabi and Dubai for orders above 300AED.
    • For orders less than 300AED, we are charging 30AED shipping fee.
    • Delivery cut off timings vary per location. For Dubai and Abu Dhabi, our delivery cut off timing is until 6PM.
    • All orders received beyond the specified timings will be delivered on the next day.
    • For urgent delivery requirements to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we offer Express Delivery services with a 150 AED charge. We guarantee the delivery within 1 hour from the time you have placed and paid your order with us.
    • No same day delivery for any orders with cake. Placing of cake orders is only until 6pm, then it will be delivered on the next day, 11am onwards.
    • The shipping fee applies to one location ONLY. If your order has more than one delivery location, additional shipping fee will be charged per location added.
    • If our driver has already arrived at the initially provided shipping address and you then change the location, an additional 30AED will be charged for re-routing, given that the new location is more than 2 kilometers away from the original shipping address. To avoid this, kindly communicate with our Customer Service Team for any changes regarding your delivery details.

    Plantaflora guarantees the delivery of your order within the day that you have requested. However, we cannot promise exact timings. For orders that must be received within a particular time slot, please contact our Customer Service Team before placing your order for assistance.
