Plant Care

Agave blue, also known as Blue Agave or Agave tequilana, is a type of succulent plant that is native to Mexico. Here are some plant care tips for Agave blue:

  1. Light: Agave blue needs bright, direct sunlight for at least 6 hours a day. Be sure to place it in a sunny spot, such as a south-facing window.
  2. Water: Agave blue is a drought-tolerant plant and can go for long periods without water. Water sparingly, only when the soil is completely dry. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
  3. Soil: Agave blue prefers well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix. Make sure the pot has drainage holes to prevent water from pooling at the bottom.
  4. Temperature: Agave blue prefers warm temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C). It can tolerate temperatures as low as 50°F (10°C), but it should be brought indoors if the temperature drops lower than that.
  5. Fertilizer: Agave blue does not require frequent fertilization. You can fertilize it once or twice a year with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season.
  6. Pruning: Remove any dead or damaged leaves as needed. Agave blue does not require pruning unless it becomes too large for its space.
  7. Propagation: Agave blue can be propagated by removing offsets, or "pups," that grow from the base of the plant. Allow the pup to dry for a day or two before planting it in well-draining soil. However, note that Agave blue is typically grown for its mature size, which can reach up to 6 feet tall and wide, so propagating it may not be necessary.

    DELIVERY

    • We offer free same day delivery for Abu Dhabi and Dubai for orders above 300AED.
    • For orders less than 300AED, we are charging 30AED shipping fee.
    • Delivery cut off timings vary per location. For Dubai and Abu Dhabi, our delivery cut off timing is until 6PM.
    • All orders received beyond the specified timings will be delivered on the next day.
    • For urgent delivery requirements to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we offer Express Delivery services with a 150 AED charge. We guarantee the delivery within 1 hour from the time you have placed and paid your order with us.
    • No same day delivery for any orders with cake. Placing of cake orders is only until 6pm, then it will be delivered on the next day, 11am onwards.
    • The shipping fee applies to one location ONLY. If your order has more than one delivery location, additional shipping fee will be charged per location added.
    • If our driver has already arrived at the initially provided shipping address and you then change the location, an additional 30AED will be charged for re-routing, given that the new location is more than 2 kilometers away from the original shipping address. To avoid this, kindly communicate with our Customer Service Team for any changes regarding your delivery details.

    Plantaflora guarantees the delivery of your order within the day that you have requested. However, we cannot promise exact timings. For orders that must be received within a particular time slot, please contact our Customer Service Team before placing your order for assistance.
