Agave attenuata, also known as the Foxtail Agave or the Lion's Tail Agave, is a popular succulent plant native to Mexico. Here are some plant care tips for Agave attenuata:

  1. Light: Agave attenuata prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate some shade. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, especially during the hottest part of the day, as it can scorch the leaves.
  2. Water: Agave attenuata is a drought-tolerant plant and can go for long periods without water. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely before watering again. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
  3. Soil: Agave attenuata prefers well-draining soil, such as a cactus or succulent mix. Make sure the pot has drainage holes to prevent water from pooling at the bottom.
  4. Temperature: Agave attenuata prefers warm temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). It can tolerate temperatures as low as 50°F (10°C), but it should be brought indoors if the temperature drops lower than that.
  5. Fertilizer: Agave attenuata does not require frequent fertilization. You can fertilize it once or twice a year with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season.
  6. Pruning: Agave attenuata does not require pruning unless it becomes too large for its space. Remove any dead or damaged leaves as needed.
  7. Propagation: Agave attenuata can be propagated by removing offsets, or "pups," that grow from the base of the plant. Allow the pup to dry for a day or two before planting it in well-draining soil.

    DELIVERY

    • We offer free same day delivery for Abu Dhabi and Dubai for orders above 300AED.
    • For orders less than 300AED, we are charging 30AED shipping fee.
    • Delivery cut off timings vary per location. For Dubai and Abu Dhabi, our delivery cut off timing is until 6PM.
    • All orders received beyond the specified timings will be delivered on the next day.
    • For urgent delivery requirements to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we offer Express Delivery services with a 150 AED charge. We guarantee the delivery within 1 hour from the time you have placed and paid your order with us.
    • No same day delivery for any orders with cake. Placing of cake orders is only until 6pm, then it will be delivered on the next day, 11am onwards.
    • The shipping fee applies to one location ONLY. If your order has more than one delivery location, additional shipping fee will be charged per location added.
    • If our driver has already arrived at the initially provided shipping address and you then change the location, an additional 30AED will be charged for re-routing, given that the new location is more than 2 kilometers away from the original shipping address. To avoid this, kindly communicate with our Customer Service Team for any changes regarding your delivery details.

    Plantaflora guarantees the delivery of your order within the day that you have requested. However, we cannot promise exact timings. For orders that must be received within a particular time slot, please contact our Customer Service Team before placing your order for assistance.
