Plant Care

Agave parryii, also known as Parry's agave, is a desert succulent that is native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. Here are some tips for plant care of Agave parryii:

  1. Soil: Agave parryii prefers well-draining soil that is sandy or rocky. Use a cactus or succulent potting mix, or add sand or perlite to standard potting soil to improve drainage.
  2. Watering: Agave parryii is drought-tolerant and prefers to be kept on the dry side. Water deeply and thoroughly, but allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot.
  3. Light: Agave parryii prefers full sun to partial shade. Place the plant in a sunny window or outdoors in a sunny location.
  4. Fertilizer: Agave parryii does not require regular fertilization, but you can apply a balanced fertilizer once or twice per year during the growing season.
  5. Pruning: Agave parryii does not require regular pruning, but you can remove any dead or damaged leaves as needed.
  6. Propagation: Agave parryii can be propagated by removing offsets, or "pups," that grow from the base of the plant. Wait until the pups are at least 4 inches tall before removing them, then plant them in a separate pot.
  7. Pests and diseases: Agave parryii is relatively disease-resistant and pest-free, but it can be susceptible to mealybugs and scale insects. These pests can be controlled with insecticidal soap or neem oil.

    DELIVERY

    • We offer free same day delivery for Abu Dhabi and Dubai for orders above 300AED.
    • For orders less than 300AED, we are charging 30AED shipping fee.
    • Delivery cut off timings vary per location. For Dubai and Abu Dhabi, our delivery cut off timing is until 6PM.
    • All orders received beyond the specified timings will be delivered on the next day.
    • For urgent delivery requirements to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we offer Express Delivery services with a 150 AED charge. We guarantee the delivery within 1 hour from the time you have placed and paid your order with us.
    • No same day delivery for any orders with cake. Placing of cake orders is only until 6pm, then it will be delivered on the next day, 11am onwards.
    • The shipping fee applies to one location ONLY. If your order has more than one delivery location, additional shipping fee will be charged per location added.
    • If our driver has already arrived at the initially provided shipping address and you then change the location, an additional 30AED will be charged for re-routing, given that the new location is more than 2 kilometers away from the original shipping address. To avoid this, kindly communicate with our Customer Service Team for any changes regarding your delivery details.

    Plantaflora guarantees the delivery of your order within the day that you have requested. However, we cannot promise exact timings. For orders that must be received within a particular time slot, please contact our Customer Service Team before placing your order for assistance.
